#KatyPerry California Gurls the Remixes

Every summer there comes a song that makes you wanna dance all night long. Katy Perry’s California Gurls is undoubtedly this summer’s hot track. I’ve been hooked on it since I heard it hit the airwaves and it’s definitely been played more than usual on my playlist. As can be expected, every hot pop song has a remix so Hyper Crush and Passion Pit took to their synths and drumb machines to make two of the hottest.

I have to admit I originally was not a Katy Perry fan through and through. It took me a while to really get into “I Kissed a Girl” but her new single has me hooked to her sound. You can really hear the electronic influence throughout the song. The video for Katy Perry’s California Gurls dropped on June 15th. Have a peek above. It’s only 3 minutes long and besides, even if you don’t like the song, how can you not like uma bonita Portuguesa and the only man in the world who can pull off wearing a suit covered in cupcakes ;) .

Aural Oaisis: Karmatronic

You know when you hear a really good song but you’re traveling in a foreign country and have no idea what it’s called or who it’s by. You only hear it that one time but you just can’s get those sultry sound out of your head? That’s how I felt when I first heard Karmatronic a few days ago. Karmatronic is a DJ duo and from the looks of things, seems to be popular mainly in Eastern Europe though they have toured around the world with the likes of Tiesto. With strong feminine vocals, Karmatronic adds a new meaning to dancefloor chic. Their sound is the perfect mixture of uplifting dance beats and chill flowing breathy vocals making anyplace you dance an aural oaisis. The duo perfectly exemplifies this in their track Stay With Me featuring Lexa Michelle.

Other body moving tracks include Hey, Soul Sister by Train and remixes of Beyonce songs.

Nevermind that there isn’t a skip button on the music player, you won’t want the sound to stop.
