Target Ads on the 6 Train.

It’s 10:30 on Wednesday evening and after 3 hours with my family and a birthday party for a blogger friend, my boyfriend and I decide it’s time to head back home to Brooklyn. Waiting in the 23rd street stop for the 6 train, being the New Yorker that I am, I was annoyed that I had to wait 9 minutes for the next downtown train to come. Huffy and puffy while I was waiting my attitude went from grumpy to OMG COOL when our train pulled up completely covered in decals themed for Target. A new target store is opening on 116th street and Pleasant Avenue on July 15th. Read more about it on shopdirtylaundry.com. I was so excited by the decals that I acutally filmed the train so you can see what it looks like. It’s about time a company went all out advertising on the subway (literally!). Maybe more ad’s like this will bring more money to the MTA, increase service and cut prices. Wishful thinking. To learn more about the subway ads, check out Second Avenue Sagas.
